Starting Point: The heart of Hochatown (main commercial area along US-259, near popular spots like Girls Gone Wine, Mountain Fork Brewery, Grateful Head Pizza, and Hochatown Distilling Co.)
Estimated Drive Time: 10–15 minutes (approximately 6–8 miles, depending on exact starting spot in town)
Step-by-Step Directions:
Head north on US Highway 259 (the main road through Hochatown).
Continue north past the main Hochatown attractions and restaurants.
Look for the turn onto Lukfata Trail (marked by landmarks like Hochatown Distilling Co., Shuck Me, or Mountain Fork Brewery—if you've passed these, you're close).
Turn left (west) onto North Lukfata Trail.
Follow Lukfata Trail for about 0.75–1 mile (you'll pass a creek and some shopping areas).
Turn right onto East Eagle Mountain Trail (or similar connecting road in the Eagle Mountain/Timber Creek area—watch for signs).
Continue on the winding paved roads through the cabin neighborhoods (you may pass trails like Paint Horse Circle, Sawtooth Circle, or Coffee Tree Trail).
Turn onto Plane Tree Trail (it branches off in this development).
Proceed to 133 Plane Tree Trail—Splashing Bear will be on your right/left (look for signage).

Roads are paved but winding and hilly—drive cautiously, especially at night or in wet weather.
Cell service can be spotty; download offline maps (Google Maps or Avenza) in advance.
The cabin is in a secluded, pine-forested neighborhood—perfect for privacy, but allow extra time if towing a boat/trailer.
GPS Address: Use "133 Plane Tree Trail, Broken Bow, OK 74728" (or Hochatown)—most apps route accurately once north of town.
If lost, head back to US-259 as the main reference point.
